Gardens are like men. Some are proud and exuberant, others hide their secrets jealously. In Le Mans, between the Roman wall and the Gothic cathedral, often sheltered behind forbidding doors, the gardens and courtyards of the Cité Plantagenêt now disclose their most precious attributes : colour, fragrance, and a few of their memories.
